KEN GORDON

Ken started playing drums at the age of 11. He took lessons from Mr. Murphy who was very strict and wanted to teach John Sousa marches. Later in High School Ken was even convinced to join the school orchestra and marching band. After a few years he figured out that wasn't for him and started playing Rock & Roll.
He bought his first used drum set from his cousin in New Hampshire and set them up in a very cramped bedroom that he shared with his two brothers. It didn't take long for the neighbors to complain so he moved down to the basement. Then came the bands and many bands there were. His most exciting performance was a Battle of the Bands contest held in R.I for all original music. The event was sponsored by Dunkin Donuts and Little Steven's Underground Garage. The winner was to receive a recording contract! The band placed in the semi-finals but didn't win the big one. Maybe next time.
He found out about Trial Run from his Sister-in-law who was working at a college and happened to talk to her co-worker who was a singer in the band. They were looking for a drummer at the time and Ken joined up. Ken enjoys playing the drums and singing in Trail Run. It's a great group of professional people with the right attitude.
